Speakers of the day
Knut Olav is project lead for the Cyber Project and an investigation lead, with a long background across various specialist units within the police. Beyond leading the team investigating cybercrime in Sør-Vest, he is also a pre-appointed investigation lead for the most serious cases in our district — regardless of case type. Mads is the district's digital response lead, with 10 years of experience from Oslo and Kripos. His day-to-day work involves guiding, assisting, and supporting colleagues on all kinds of cases we investigate, helping them make the most of digital traces and internet-based investigation.

Building digital products in weeks, not months
Melvær's framing was less about AI as a technology and more about AI as a forcing function. The teams shipping the fastest aren't the ones using the most sophisticated models, he argued — they're the ones who've stopped treating prototyping as a separate phase. A working prototype, in his telling, isn't the thing you build before the real product. It is the real product, just earlier and rougher. The companies still treating it as a deliverable to be approved before development starts are losing weeks to a process that no longer serves them.
