We built a destination for those who want more.
We saw something no one else had seen: a paradigm shift in workplace culture — and a desperate need for a meeting place for business. That became FOMO. A destination for those who dream big, want more, and make it happen.
A bet placed in the worst possible market.
In 2019, we took over 35,000 sqm of empty office space on Forus amid a severe vacancy crisis. Two months later, Covid hit. We wrote a report on survival. We were right. Over three years, FOMO gained 100% of new office signings on Forus.

They leased out office space in a terrible market, transformed a boring building into something magical…
Christian Ringnes, Chair of the board – Eiendomsspar ASA, subsequently acquired 48% of FOMO.
FOMO's work has resulted in people from all over the world seeking out Rogaland to take part in new industrial adventures.
Play to win. Powerful community. Wow! with substance.
FOMO exists to give people and companies the framework they need to succeed.
The idea underneath the architecture
Where You Work Shapes Who You Become.
Your surroundings are not neutral. They shape your energy, your network, and your ambitions. That's why we build places that match yours.
Community Is Not A Bonus, It's Infrastructure.
The best ideas emerge when different perspectives meet. The entrepreneur and the cornerstone company at the same lunch table. That's not coincidence – that's design.
Rogaland Can Become The Region The World's Best Minds Choose
Not because they have to. But because we're building arenas that make it worth choosing – and staying.
In the founder’s own words.
Magnus Meisal built FOMO on a simple conviction: the places we work shape who we become — and most workplaces get this wrong.
He has spent his career creating arenas for people who want more. From student entrepreneurship hubs to Slingshot — which helped generate 480 new jobs and 160 million kroner in annual tax revenue for the region — the motivation has always been the same: to do something bigger for the people around him, never for personal security or economics alone. When Covid threatened to end FOMO before it had truly begun, Magnus wrote a survival report anchored not in financial modelling, but in 10,000 years of human history. The argument: our need for community has survived every pandemic, every crisis, every disruption. It always comes back. We were building for that.
FOMO is not a real estate project. It is an arena where visions become reality — because ambitious people find each other here.
Built on strong foundations
FOMO is owned through Wild Bill AS, backed by some of Norway's most respected investors and real estate actors.
Partners With Skin In The Game
Two of our operating companies are built as genuine partnerships — where the people who run them also own them.
Race AS (40%) — founded by Astrid Eik and Rudi Clausen — alongside Wild Bill AS (60%). Race AS brings deep expertise in hospitality, food and events, and shares both the ownership and the ambition of what Funky FOMO is becoming.
Siri Øvstebø (20%) alongside Wild Bill AS (80%). Siri leads FOMO Design as CEO and co-owner — bringing both creative direction and personal commitment to every project.
FOMO Works, Funky FOMO and FOMO Design operate as independent companies within the group — each led by their own CEO, each building the FOMO ecosystem from their own angle
